69,000 miles and when I first start the truck its runs rough. As you start driving it it jerks and snatches while driving down the rouad. As it warms up it goes away. I had #8 injector replace as the mechanic told me it was the problem. Didnt fix it. HE buzz tested all the others and all appear to be good. No engine codes were found and I just replaced the batterys as well.

Any ideas???

I would check the injector harnesses at the valve covers they have a problem with coming unplugged on both sides of the gasket. It happened to me truck would run rough til it warmed up

The mechanic stated he checked the harness and stated it was fine. Are there (2) fuel filters on this truck? Some say yes and some say no. Ive changed the one on the motor but cant seem to find the 2nd if there is.

One filter, on top of the engine. Check the fuel lines for ones that might have been
added. Would probably be near the fuel pump. Ask the ones that say they came with
two where they are located. They may be talking about the fuel strainer in the
tank, but it really isnt a filter that is serviceable.

Does it need to get to full operating temp to have the issues go away? Also, what
are the outside temps? You using bio-diesel?

The one on the motor is the only filter, stock. But if second one has been added, check underneeth, near the fuel pump. (Driver-side frame rail)

It does seem it needs to get to full operating temps. The mechanic does claim it is the fuel. Ive put fuel additives in for 3 months now an not any better. If it were the fuel wouldnt others have the same problem?
