2001 7.3 with 100k
The problem started with an intermitting shift problem from 2nd to 3rd sometimes requiring me to slow down or come to a complete stop. at this time the code read 732 (2nd to 3rd ratio) and 470(EBPS) also about this time it started taking longer to start. Now 2000mls later it will not shift up out of 2nd gear. when it reaches speed to shift up it acts as if an engine brake is applied. it then must be slowed to 1st gear or to a stop.
the EBPS was replaced and tube cleaned. the codes were then cleared and test run showed no change other than the only code showing now is 782(also 2nd to 3rd ratio)
