There are plenty of E rated tires out there in 18 and 20 inch sizes. Toyo, Nitto, Yokohoma, Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek, Goodyear, Continental and more all make an E rated tire in big inch wheels. There are a few 22 and 24 inch tires now as well, not that you'd be doin a whole lot, if any, heavy hauling with rims that size.

ok sounds like the supplier problems are solved since the last time i did
any looking or listening to friends (04s w/ 18" and friend w/ 05s w/ 20")

but the matter of COST remains...as compared to the 16"...personally
id love to have a set of 18"s on mine...i think they look nicer...and fill
the wheel well better.

I've noticed the same cruise problem on mine. Did they change the cruise control system so that it doesn't cause the trucks to spontaneously combust anymore in the driveway when the truck is not even running? I was going to drive mine a little more so I could be sure

Took a 1,000 mile trip and gave up on the cruise all together, it was ridiculous. I tried to set the cruise at 60 pullin 6500#. The truck would drop into O/D at about 57-58. When I set the cruise, the speed would drop below the shift point, accelerate hard to come back up to 60, kick out of O/D, speed up to 63-65, then drop backto 58-62 or so, but of course not in O/D. -mad Finally, I just turned it off and used the "ol #13 to cruise as I pleased...:sweet

If others are getting a steady cruise out of an 06 or 07, let me know and I'll take it to the dealer w/ extra ammo for when they gimme that confused dog look :dunno ...

ive got the same motor & trans as the rest of you guys...

all i can tell you is that mine does fine...towing 6k lbs (plus two motorcycles
and a welder in the bed)...cruise set 75mph (plus) and it was rock steady &
accurate.

if it works on mine, and several others, id say youve probably found
a model year issue...and id be takin' it to the dealer for warrenty CORRECTION

I'll check mine at the end of next week. Going on a round trip of about 1500 miles. Some thru Southeastern mountains. Some in the flats. Pulling a 3k# bass boat and 2K# of stuff in the bed. We'll see how the cruise and mileage and coolant work out. 750 miles straight there and 750 straight back.
