Some day, I'm going to do what Bushpilot has done.:sweet Job there BP

thanks...and its all DIY <cause im a cheap bastard>
even at that this stuff gets expensive...theres about 300 bucks
tied up in the "cable" from the battery and the distribution block...

and that doesnt include the 1.5f capacitor & all the signal leads
from the head unit and all the monster cable that is run thru out
the entire truck to EVERY cross over and speaker (in equal & balanced
LENGTHS) !

I hear ya on the "Cheap Bastard";) :roflmao . I am too, thats whats kept me from doing it.

I ran 10 guage to my Bed Box for OBA and a Booster Box, came out purdy sweet but now I'm think'n about an inverter.

Any hints or suggestions ? Overkill/underkill/minimum guage 12v power wire:dunno

how do you know which side is the "key on" side?

is there a closer key on source?

Best way is with a test light.

Key Off: touch each post, find the one thats Dead.. No light.

Key On: Touch the Dead post. If the test light lights ? yer there.

There are closer sources but depending on year, model, equipment packages and even build date.. there >can be< wireing differentces. If you want a closer source yul just have to poke around with yer test light. Just be sure you find a wire thats big enough Guage.. Ferd uses some purdy chincy wire for alot of thier stuff. (i.e.; Headlight wires  )

"Cheaper" can be... Just That. And usually is. Be carefull. You git what you pay for. JMHO

where is the bus today?
I have a 10 banger one of these under my dash, ADD-ON FUSED CIRCUIT PANELS - JCWhitney Auto Parts
ran 2 runs of 12ga wire straight from battery. for the couple things i needed key on instead of hot, i put up relays and opened them useing the big red with black tracer under the dash. ill try and get a pic, for how much junk im powering it think it was the neatest option
