08 side intakes

Does anybody know were I can find some of the side intakes from an 08 SD? Have been thinking alot about putting them on the Platinum. Of course after I paint the inside Platinum. Need to see if I can get a set to put them on the truck and see what it looks like. Have been on Ebay but not very good at finding things on there. Thanks for the help.

You know that on the '08's the fender vent is recessed into the fender, right? Bama and I discussed this a while back that you would need to cut your fender open or shave off all of the plastic ribbs and cleats off the back of the vent and 3-M tape it to the fender. I'm all for cutting my fender open just to be the first guy to have them, but I have other projects in sight. ('08 tailgate)

yeah i was in that discussion a while back...and like i said then....surely the tape will work...if we cut off the plastic ribs like you said....im waiting untill i can see someone elses finished probuct.....but the tailgate does look awesome

Joe thanks. I know that it is recessed into the fender, but I have my mind set and this is what I want to do. Have a buddy that owns a body shop and once I get them in, I am going to his shop and we are going to look at it. I think it would be cool. Like the tailgates also, but I want to do this first. Saw the grills for and 08 and it will also fit on 99-07 trucks. That might be down the road. Have some plans for the dual intakes. Just have to wait. Thanks for the responses guys.

the only thing i dislike about the new 2008 fender badges, is that ugly flat red color on the grill part. its needs to be all chrome for me, or maybe you can acetone that dead red off.

Me to but Big K said that he has seen some that were all chrome also.
