    If it's anything like the variable vane turbo in the 6.0, the unison rings are prone to rusting if the truck is not used often. My 05 Excursion which has 33k miles has been through 4 turbos and 3 turbo repairs to remove the rust on the CHRA (center housing ring assembly).

    Does the 07 6.0 have an extra vane in the turbo? I have never heard of this. I understand the the center housing ring assembly (CHRA) now has a groove or v-cut in it to help prevent rust. Can anyone confirm this?
