upgrading newer bigger tires
Go with the hankook, great tire, quiet on the road wear good and great off road. I have had a couple of sets on other trucks and were hands down the best I have found.- SIRed

The muffler fell off...
Yeah, I recently cut off the muffler and cat...sounds amazing and noticed a bit of a difference in the truck.- SIRed

Thats what I had heard too and that is why I will not attempt it. I would assume it would be pretty pricey to have this done at a shop also. How many have done the coolant bypass filter and oil bypass, and mods like that? Pretty easy to do?- SIRed

Mine is about the same as yours and that is what I understand too. I know it will happen but just don't know enough about it to do it myself. Mine has about 113,000 on the clock and has a clean bill of health from what I got from the oasis report and the previous owner. I would like to change...- SIRed

So adding more power to one doesn't make it more prone to blowing a head gasket? That is the impression I was under. I can definetly see the advantage to updating to the studs to prevent this but I don't know if it is something I would be able to do in the garage. It seems that I would have to...- SIRed

Yeah, that was what I was getting at. Seemed from what I was understanding was that head gaskets where being blown when you put more power to the engine and the head gaskets couldn't take it.- SIRed
