    Does anyone know what temperature the rear diff's run at? I used an infrared thermometer on mine this weekend and here are the temps I saw: Empty: 144*F Towing 5,000 lbs for an hour: 172*F I am asking because I am trying to decide if I want to go to the '08 finned rear diff cover. Thanks

    Let me clearify....you will have more frame ground clearance. When offroading you normally try not to straddle the rocks, you drive over them with a tire, thus axle clearance isn't as big a factor.

    My dad is running the Nomad kit from Golden Fuel Systems (it was greasel back when he got it) on his '97 F-350. Has 40,000 miles on that kit. I am running my own system! Just a tank heater and a heated second filter.

    "in trouble".....no. You still pay the $0.15-$0.20/gal to the feds. It is just a LOT less paperwork now. The state paperwork was retarded!
