Well, what do you guys think..... Doesn't look too bad for a 12 year old truck. This report was for oil that went 7000 miles and the truck has 130,630 miles on it
Thanks for the comments Bush. Yeah, I normally try to change the oil at 5000 miles, but this one got away from me.
As for air filtering, it has had the stock filter on it, but a month or two ago I changed to a Tymar intake. So, we will see what effect that has. Which items indicate the level of air filtering?!?
It looks like the iron, tin and lead were high while the molybdenum was low indicating the bearing wear. You didnt have elevated copper levels so you didnt hurt anything catastrophically but I would definetly recommend a 5K interval and a recheck at that mileage. You'll get a good comparison then.
The silicon (sand/dirt) level is the indicator for air filtration.
