    Yeah....$32k is hard to pass up. Those things are worth a lot though. We swaped a 911 motor into one and then swaped gears in the tranny. It was a high roof model. Fun as hell to drive and would MOVE down the road. I would suggest just buying a truck bed slide in camper. You can get them...

    Price of Diesel?

    Man....I need to move obviously!! Prices have been steady here in Nebraska between $3.02 and $3.09 for the last 3 - 4 weeks. Wife and I did a 650 mile road trip around Iowa over the past weekend and the cheapest I bought was $2.79 in Des Moines.

    CRAPPER!!!! :cussing: I am going to try and deal with it. Its not bad unless the sun is right on it. Plus.....its on the passenger side so I guess the passengers will just have to deal with it! Thanks guys!!!

    I don't know what the guy before me did, but I have a bunch of little scratches on the passenger side of my windshield. It looks like he scrubbed it with a brillow pad or steel wool or something. :dunno Is there anything I can rub that with or use to remove those scratches?

    Vents wont change

    I had this happen to mine. You have lost vacuum pressure somewhere. On mine, the vacuum hoses behind the dash had deteriorated and had to be replaced. Another good spot to check is if you have 4x4 shift on the fly. The hoses that connect to the front hubs sometimes crack and create a leak.

    Thanks for all the replys guys! I think we are going to look into drilling a well first. If that is too expensive, then we will probably go with the tank idea. Either way we will probably get a septic system put in.

    We have talked about drilling a well, but I have a feeling that is just going to be expensinve. We are going to look into it though. Burying a tank probably isn't a bad idea. We coudl get a pretty big one and hire the local fire department to come fill it up. Pretty much treat it like a well...

    OK....so here's the deal........ Finally got to buy my "cabin on the lake"!!!!!!!! Don't have pictures yet, but will soon. Here's my problem........cabin has power, but no running water. Been trying to come up with the best plan to mount a tank outside and gravity feed it into the cabin...

    Yeah.......I did this. Basically I just did it for looks! :sly It is a nice unit though. Looks pretty and does have the fins for added cooling.

    I have owned 2 stoeger over/unders and they were fantastic, tough guns. They are nothing fancy.......which is why the price is so low.......but they are built tough and won't break. Franchi is one gun I don't know much about. A buddy of mine has a Franchi o/u and likes it.

    Welcome to Nebraska!!!!! My wife works for UP in the corporate office here in Omaha. She has been there 11 years. She never gets out to North Platte, but my buddies and I head out that way during hunting season to chase sharptails. have fun with the big iron!!!
