    OK...so the temp sensor in the trans pan. Is this something I can change myself or is it deep in the transmission? Anyone know? I'd like to do it myself if I can instead of paying the dealer.

    That is what I figured because the tranny was operating fine and when I got hom I pulled teh dipstick and the fluid looked fine. It didn't do it this morning on the way to work. Thanks guys!!!

    106k and the only thing I have had to replace is the EGR valve. Everything else (belt, oil filters, coolant, etc) has been just maintenance or preventative maintenance. I love my 6.0........LOVE IT!!!!!!!
