    Dies in reverse

Well, here's what I've learned about Super Duty automatic transmissions.. The factory trans does have some shortfalls. The aftermarket has picked up n this and made even the Aamco stuff more robust. So, unless you are pulling sled every weekend, or trying to put 600hp on the ground, you don't...

You could pull it apart and ohm out the rectifier.. And make sure the rotor and stator windings aren't open or shorted.. Does it have power to all three terminals KOEO?

Question Ford Dealer Cheating Me ? Alternator PCM

Couple hundred bucks will buy you a CAN- capable scan tool. You don't need one with diagnostic routines built in. You just need to pull codes. That, and a library card, so you can access Chilton or Alldata for the flow charts..

    Can TPMS be adjusted?

I'm pretty sure there are still a low pressure and a high pressure sensor. Everything since '08 has it.. and everyone calls the control module something different.. train mode on your truck is easy.. put it in park, set the e-brake.. stab the brake pedal, then cycle the key on-off three...

    Can TPMS be adjusted?

There are only two sensors for the trucks. One is a low pressure for the half-tons, hysteresis pressure 26 psi.. and the other for the Super Duty's.. now, I think hysteresis pressure on these is 55psi.. look at the door post.. whatever the fronts are, they trip at seven psi less than that...

You Gotta Friend In The Transport Business

I wouldn't necessarily say the maintenance is any cheaper.. You only buy four gallons of oil vs 14 gallons, but if you're only changing it once ever 50K vs every 7,500... might want to sit down and spreadsheet this out..
