    that shouldn't be an issue on a 7.3.. the HEUI IS the "high pressure" fuel pump.. it slams a shuttle valve down on the fuel chamber when energized.. if the pressure was low enough to affect driveability, he gave it a cold pill.. masking the symptoms without "curing" the problem.. although...

    I had a GPR bite the bone one time.. in July... would belch up the biggest cloud of white smoke you ever saw, but it WOULD NOT fire..

    finished up replacing the rotted out brake line the runs down the frame from the ABS unit, the backing plate/park brake assemblies, new pads, rotors, and rear calipers.. bled the rear of the system.. now on to the front.. new ball joints, left side axle joint, and new pads & rotors up front...

    Help Needed Problem with front locking hubs

    One thing you may be missing.. there is a needle bearing that the stub rides on where it goes through the backside of the unit bearing.. frequently this is damaged, or worn, and it lets the stub wobble around, binding the lockout. I've had to replace a couple of them because the wear was so great.
