In short... No.
Some people have gotten the notion that you MUST change the HPOP oil or it will turn to sludge.
Fact is, this is not true. The HPOP oil is circulated with the rest of the engine oil.
You can change it if you want, because during a normal oil change this oil remains in the HPOP and will mix with the new oil. Its worth noting that no matter what, you will not get all of the old oil out of the truck, so new oil will always have some old oil mixed in.
Its entirely up to you.
But to prove that it wont turn to sludge.. Here is my HPOP oil change..
