    Cars are full of gas, truck is full of diesel... We have been to sick to drive. I just checked our local stations and diesel is $3.909 Still not as high as Needles Ca. at $4.519 We had budgeted $4,000 for fuel on our trip, but at this rate, we might not be able to get out of California...

    Since this post is going a little astray, I'll give you my opinion.We bought our SC because it looks better to me. I really do not like the look of the CC. I agree for your needs, the CC is a good choice if your truck is your only vehicle.

    In your situation, as all the others have said, cc. BUT if you need to make it turn in something less than an acre, and the kids are raised and gone, and you have a pooch to haul around, then the Super Cab is the way to go. :D
