    Yea , I say replace it too . Taking a hit that hard the pumpkin could be out of shape which would change all of the tolerences and cause bearing and possibly gearset problems .

    Nice Trucks Guys , here are mine . 2008 with a V-10 , 1999 7.3 with 38,000 miles . Just sold the 08 , Didn't like the V-10 . I had the 08 Tinted limo and the wind shield 35% looked awsome also added a Dynomax cat back exhaust. The 99 just the side windows are limo and it is all stock .

    try (as odd as it my sound) removing the rear driveshaft and running it in reverse and see if it still does it.. at least you eliminate the "drive" parts of the equation.. Just be sure to give it pleanty of time to stop before shifting to park , maybe even shut it off .
