    Look for bubbles in the coolant , this is usually a good indicator of a blown head gasket . If it is blowing coolant out after you run it hard I would say it's a pretty good chance that you have a blown head gasket .

    Yea , I was thinking somthing close in shape . Never had to replace the cups though so I'm not much help , just know you dont want anthing in the cylinder . Wonder how much the tool is and where you get one . Snap On or somewhere like that probably .

    Hub Cap Fitment???

    I couldn't get the link to open but I don't think so , the 05 and newer have a different lug pattern/spacing and the caps snap on to the lugs so I wouldn't think they would line up .

    Don't know about wood , what if it splinters and some goes into the cylinder . Would a brass drive work better ? Just a thaught . Anyone else have any input on this ?

    Deffinately stay away from the dually bed , it would be way too much work to make it straight . Holes and wheel lips are cut out 3/4 of the way around .

    My 99 xl had warn hubs as well , I didn't buy it new but it had very low miles when I got it . It had the lock out on the floor with no electric on the fly button , could that be the difference ?

    Sounds like the wire going to the gauge / idiot light isn't making good contact . Unplug it at the alternator and plug it back in . Maybe a little dielectric grease .

    Thanks for the input , I will be changing the filter this weekend . I have changed the filter on this truck and some of my others as well no prob there , but how do I drain the water , I have never had to do that before . Thanks again .

    I have noticed that if I let my truck get down to 1/8th of a tank (doesn't happen often) the truck starts to stutter and miss and lose power as if it it running out of fuel . I know the fuel gauge could be off so I have taken that into consideration , but it wasn't a problem until this year ...

    Help Needed Starter solenoid just clicks when cold, no start

    I agree , even though he replaced the seleniod already he got a bad one . If there is voltage to the terminal from the ignition switch , and it also starts when you jump across the terminals thats all it can be .
