    icp sensor on 7.3

    I removed the wires, blew on them and reinstalled. Then drove to dinner. I said to my wife, wow that engine sounds good now. But The injector noise is back an hour later. Maybe a coincidence, maybe something to do with a sensor going? Not sure, no codes.

    I would not worry til you get the report back. But if there is coolant in the oil, they would address it. I would say I have to keep adding coolant. Then they have to look. I would be more concerned with say lead in the oil.

    icp sensor on 7.3 and wires to it? WHat happens if an icp sensor is going out? WOuld it throw a code? Can they cause it to act up and slightly hesitate or maybe sputter is a better term when taking foot off the pedal when driving at say 40mph? I read somewhere that if the sensor is leaking...

    Can a hpop pump get weak? if so how?If its mechanical wouldn't it pump the same amount of pressure old as it did new? How would a mechanical pump get weak? can it?

    you need to have nitrates in the coolant. Being an 03 you have extended life coolant. You get test strips from napa and read the strips and add nitrates accordingly. Even if you change the coolant you want to test the new coolant too. YOu may need sca's(supplemental coolant additives)...

    I know but if my sct is a code reader for the 7.3, well, actually a tuner but used as a reader for a 7.3 therefore making it able to read codes on a 6.0? The sct tuners are also trouble code readers, they just dont perform any tests like daves b's set up

    the fronts dont seem like a bad price. topgunz customs on ebay has real good prices, they also sell out of their store. I just find them on ebay. Front springs, shockd, u bolts, track bar heavy duty(2.5 inch lift 339$)

    The front seal on a power steering pump, is it real easy to change?
