    i would have to say wheel. lots of rear end clunking, no whining. The clunk is not the slip joint in this case. I sold the rear but would like to know what it is. The guy i sold it to will rebuild it. I bought an 08 10.5 rear with 4:10's. It has 40k on it. 500 bucks!

    I used marine grease on the slip yoke yesterday, had it apart 10 times this month. Lubed every time. I think the clunk is ring and pinuion but would have to use a dial indicator on the stuff to know for sure.

    finding a week injector?

    i checked my uvch with the ohm meter looking for 2.8 ohms. Drivers side was dead on. Pass side read 6,6,6 and 27 uvch was loose under the cover. I had to scrape the ground connections and clean all of them. I got it down to 3.2 ohms. So in a nut shell, the buzz test wont test the stuff...

    I know its possible for an injector to pass the buzz test and the contribution test but still not be properly working. I have a shudder which i am really beginning to think it may be a skip under load(tc locked) at low speed(38mph) and 1300 rpm. If it is a week injector, how do I find it? thx

    my 01 uses a wire to ground the tc an allowing it to lock. Not sure what wire it is on the obs but check out "guzzles tc lock up" google it, should show up.

    i would paint the underside with spray can truck bed coating. It dries harder then undercoating and oil does not goo it all up. Good stuff.

    I was thinking that if the selenoid part was weak the extra volts going to 140 would help. They passed the buzz test and cct. Beans cant guarantee a fix but they said they have seen 25 hp gains on truck with weak selenoids. Maybe its just not opening enough at low rpm signal. I assume more...
