Convertor lockup

what wire is for the convertor lockup or what color and what could a cause a 97 not to lockup ever? if there was a broken wire to the lockup solenoid would it show a code for the circuit being open? also is this a energize to lockup or is it deenergized to lock up, the reason I ask is my dmax/allison is lockup when the solenoid is deenrgized and in torque devide mode when the solenoid is energized. just curious. thanks, Lee

my 01 uses a wire to ground the tc an allowing it to lock.
Not sure what wire it is on the obs but check out "guzzles tc lock up" google it, should show up.

found the wire lee and grounded it it worked but it would kill the engine. tore out tranny to find pump was assembled wrong fixed the problem gonna put it back in today and see how it works now.
