    maybe thats what it was!! i thought the fenders were slightly different??? i know i took an 03 and transformed it to an 05 but all we changed on it was headlights, grill, and badging, and bumper...

    my 6.0 gets about 21 on the highway... my old 97 7.3 dually crew cab was lucky to get 12........on the highway...lol then again diesel was alot cheaper back then...lol

    yeah...unfortunately i tried your method and and it wouldnt come back on...i went to lunch with some coworkers and we were going to take my truck...ac didnt come on...when we got back i teased and said bet ya 20 bucks itll come on when i leave to go home....sure enough it did...lol ticks me...

    checked the wiring and the fuses...and still sometimes and when i mean sometimes i mean very speratic times (usually when i take clients to lunch) my a/c will not turn on...by not turn on i mean the whole digital assembly...wont blow air or read outside temps... checked fuses and...

    seems to me that it should be a simple swp out of the bezzles....i swapped an 03 with an 06 fenders grill and headlights...swapped over no problems... completely irrelevent to your situation i know... but i just dont see any problems with it...other than maybe bolt hole locations...

    im as clueless as you...lol i think the new diesels by law have to pass emmissions which means to me, they have to have a muffler and cat.... my 05 only has to pass safety...so mines completely gone...ive heard the 6.4 at idle with full straight pipe and its relatively quiet untill you lay off...

    h&s for tuner...i hear the h&s is both mean and economical (on the gas gauge) as far as exhaust, i havent heard too much bc guys still want their warranties... i drive a 6.0 that is straight piped from turbo back but then again i have no emissions or warranty...lol
