    We love our Jayco 31 BDS. We have had it just over one year and have had no real issues yet. We got a bumper pull to keep the bed of the truck open for all the extra essentials to go out and "rough it".:roflmao

    08 towing mirrors

    If you buy from Dfuser you will get new plugs that you will need to wire onto the new mirrors and the truck. You will not need the plugs off of your old mirror if you do that. That is what I did.

    I sit here with extension cords running everywhere from my portable generator because we lost power at 04:00 this AM and they can't get anyone out yet to fix it. We were awoke by the sirens prior to loosing power.

    You will need the "special" wrench. I borrowed one from Autozone when I replaced my water pump. I tried for a long time to do it without the wrench. Just get the wrench.

    Big Joe, What size inverter do you have. We have considered adding one. As for generators. I have a Champion 3500 w/ an RV receptacle. We do not "dry" camp or go without hook ups, so we use it while on the road for short stops and such. It is not that loud, but too loud for boondocking w/...

    "Special handling", that is bull hockey. Sure you have to be careful, but unless you have a battery rupture you are fine. Just do not cut into one of the clearly marked ORANGE high voltage wires.

    WD, that would be Garland Safety Lane. I've heard good things about them. There is also Laminack Tire on Shiloh Rd in Garland. They sis mine and used to do our Ambulances at works.

    M14 Copper Washer #65628

    I replaced my washer with a Nylon one as that was all I could find. It works fine. If mine were a 4x4 w/ more ground clearance I would use the Fumoto.

    I just put Bilsteins on my wife's '00 Explorer and they are the cat's behind. I love them and now wish I had spent the money on my truck. I put Monroes on mine and they are fine, but I think the Bilsteins are better.

    The Police Squad cars in the city I work for have done something similar. They wired in a momentary switch that is similar to the old high beam floor button. It is concealed under the carpet and high up. If you don't press it, you can't shift.

    INSTALLING 08 MIRRORS

    The look is nice, but you can not imagine how much better the view is. The mirrors rock. Can't wait to hitch up the travel trailer now. I also FINALLY put cab lights on. That was supposed to be my first mod almost 6 years ago.
