Have a new High Definition TV but need an antenna cheep?

tin foil sales are gonna go thru the roof ! cant wait to
see those home made antennas goin' up in the trailer park !

So I can pickup my cable providor's HD channels, even if I don't have an HD box? with this homemade antenna?

Am I understanding this correctly

This is for your OTA or Over The Air channels from the local network stations like Fox,CBS,ABC,etc. on the UHF channels.

In the following link just add your zipcode,click "submit" which will display a map similar to google or mapquest. Below the map click "Continue" which will display a list of TV stations within your reception area.

On the list page select "Show Digital Stations Only" then only the digital/High Definition stations will be displayed along with the minimum style antenna required as well as distance(miles to the transmitter) Tv station FCC ID and other info.

I did a search of your zipcode,I captured the results page below. Those are your networks in HD(most if not all)

Appears you'll need at least a Large Directional antenna to grab em up.

HD picture quality will be better over the air than from satellite/cable.

truth be known a CONVENTIONAL antenna on your
roof will pick up HD

to find out WHAT stations broadcast HD in your are,
and which antenna is BEST for your location click here -->
