I would go with the 6.0 - i use mine as a daily driver and love it 48,000mi and only issue i had was egr valve pluged up which i think was caused by me idling it too much. The 6.4 is a decent motor but i have heard of some issues blowing radiators and turbos coming apart. A guy i know from work...- 6.0PSD777

Question best oil for 2003 7.3
I use Mobil Delvac 15W-40 and Motorcraft filters. I change the oil and filter every 3K mi and fuel filters every 6K.- 6.0PSD777

Kinda new and buying new truck
Its up to you, The truck i use at work is has a 6.4 in it and it goes good but the fuel mileage is terrible (9.8 MPG). The new 6.7 ford is coming out with is supposed to be a great motor but, i would be leary on buying anything first year.- 6.0PSD777

6.0 issues??
The 6.0 is a great motor if maintained. Stock, HG are not really an issue unless you are pushing high hp levels- most times blown HG are due to the EGR cooler coking up and cracking and sending coolant where it shouldnt be.- 6.0PSD777
