    Stacking programs

You are 100% correct. Loading a programmer will increase HP but will be over ridden with a chip, giving you the HP increase of the chip or the programmer but not both. I'm told about 15 HP of the 10k type mod will be added if stacked with a chip or programmer. The lower the chip HP, the greater...

    High Pressure Oil Readings

I think you are correct. I have monitored and recorded my HPOP in all different situations and there is fluctuation because of increased or decreased fuel demands but at a steady demand it stays fairly constant. Idle pressure is about 550-600 psi and I have seen as much as 3200psi under full...

    7.3 milege dropping

Many will say you will get 1-3 mpg better with a chip if you keep your foot out of it. Could be that the removal of the chip hurt you a bit. Bad fuel is a possibility also. Jim

    7.3 PSD Costs

What you are dealing with is a non issue in Michigan. Usually a truck or car that has run the Michigan winters are rusted out and junk after 10 years. If you are in it for the long haul, a good after market tranny will hit you $3500-$4000 and well worth it. Engine replacement for factory...

    Steering Box Leak

I changed on my Grand Marc and just pulled the Pitman arm. If you are lucky, after the arm is pulled, put an oil pan under the seal and start the truck while turning the steering wheel at the same time, you have about a 80%-90% chance of blowing the seal out with oil pressure. It was about a 15...

    Speed Sensor

Ford doesn't call for the rear end oil to be changed and thought it might have been overlooked by you. I change mine always at 20-25k and then every 40-50k after that even with synthetic just because of the metal that builds up in it. Jim
