    Time for a new Hpop

A few years ago, I got an Adrenaline HPOP from Dieselsite.com. At the time, they were not that much different in price from a stock HPOP. Depending on which seller you looked at, some stock pumps were more pricey than the Adrenaline HPOP. The Adrenaline HPOP was a great improvement in...

How about getting tied to a chair and getting their ass whooped by each & every person they put contacts out on. Poetic justice.

    Severe weather

While many have to deal with the nasty tornados, we had snow here. A LOT OF SNOW. We were running a snow deficit this winter and got caught up in just 3 days. I blew about a total of 30" of the white stuff out of the driveway. I think I'd rather have the snow than tornados.

Help Needed Advice needed for the newly homeless

TN may have a State Park Campground Host program like MI has. You get to stay (camp) in the park for very little (if not for free) in exchange for providing light maintenace work (generally custodial duties in the bath/shower house) and host some hospitality gatherings (morning coffee). I...

    Cadillac train horns

Since I sold my 99 F-250 and got my 2011 GMC Duramax, I have obviously been spending some time on a few Duramax forums. I though I'd share something interesting I found out about with all my old SDD.com buds. Something I found out on one forum, was about 4 note horns that were used on...

    Where is everybody?

I'm in the middle of my my 5 day stretch at work. It's 12:40 pm and I just got up. I generally get to bed about 4:30 or 5:00 am after work. I have to head back to work in another couple of hours. I don't have a lot of leisure time to post stuff during my "work week".

More talk about 5 buck fuel again by may.

Saw on the news today that since Obama "vetoed" that pipeline, the Canadians are now talking to to the Chineese about sending that oil to them.

    Aluminum overcast

I think that is the same B-17 my father-in-law got to ride in about 5 years ago. My son bought the ride for his grandpa. When the crew found out he was a B-17 veteran, they had an endless amount of questions for him. He passed away a couple of months ago at 94.

    Swamps tunes

After I put my single shot injectors into my early 99, I tried two other guys (FWIW: not Swamps or Wildman) before I went with Bill @ Power Hungry Performance. After giving the first two guys each several tries, they both failed to deliver anything that worked well. Bill was the first guy that...

    Question obd-2 diagnostic tester

I have had the Autoenginuity (A.E.) for many years now, and I have to honestly say that I cannot recommend it. When you purchase the A.E. you load it on your computer and it gives you a code. You send that code to A.E. and then they send you an unlock code to access the program features...

    Boot blow off

When I had my 7.3, I experienced the dreaded connector boot blow off a couple of times. I blamed it on the oil from the CCV vent tube getting into the intake, getting the tubes all slimey and causing the connector boots to loose their grip on the tube. After the 2nd time, I removed the...

batteries dead after sitting 2 weeks with newer diehard platnums

That is a very possible cause for an otherwise elusive parasitic power drain. There are several diodes in an alternator. If even one is getting weak, it may back feed causing a power drain. There a couple ways to test them. One is to disconnect the +/pos lead from the alternator. If...

    Little Monsters

The pic with the medicine man was taken in Colorado at a ski meet where a lot of former & future Olympic skiers competed. The indian gave a native blessing prior to the start of events. Native costumes can be pretty elaborate. Mrs TG and I went to a local pow-wow last spring. It was...

Question Who either has switched or been tempted with Ecoboost?

I was considering the Ecoboost F-150. But I found out the warranty was only 60,000 miles. The Ecoboost is an intriguing power plant. But it is also a complex unit with twin turbo chargers. With a motor that is relatively new to the market, I felt it should be backed with a better warranty...
