    It seems I was premature in saying I fixed the problem last night. I just went out to goto work and she's dead again. If I give it a LONG wts time and extend the cranking it will fire up, blow smoke (white sometimes, black the other), rev to about 1k, then die. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

    The UVC harness is the wiring harness under your valve cover that hooks up to your injectors and gp's. Theres a central connector in the middle of the head that hooks to the computer through the valve cover; that connecter seems to enjoy coming loose causing your truck to run like a complete turd.

    All they did was hook a scanner up to it, charge me $80 and say I had a bad connection. They wanted to charge me another $250 to reconnect the damn thing.

    Scratch that last post, I got it runnin again..if you can call it running...I guess I got a bit too much WD-40 on the PCM connector or not a good connection on the ICP plug when I took out my 10k. It's back to hard starting, slow to rev, and hard to get to idle unless I slowly decrese the revs...

    Haven't checked the UVC yet, but things just went from bad to worse. I thought I'd disconnect the PCM and reconnect it to make sure I got a good connection so I disconnected the batteries & the PCM then reconnected everything now the truck just cranks but never turns over

    I called around to all the local shops in hopes of finding a scanner I could borrow. Instead, after telling one guy all my symptoms he said it sounds like my computer may be in a "limp mode" and to try resetting it by disconnecting the batteries for a few hours. Anyone ever heard of this? Thanks!

    After unplugging the connector I didn't hear the "woosh" sound. I tried but couldn't for the life of me get the downpipe off to look at the valve, finally found the actuator arm and was able to move it; does being able to move the arm mean the valve isn't stuck? Thanks!

    I don't think it's the EPBV because I unplugged the 2-wire plug with the wire hoop connector at the base of the turbo. Also, before I unplugged it and gave it gas I heard the wooshing sound that I believe is the valve opening. I also don't believe the problem is the TPS because while parked...
