    Old School Bug Shield

Trouble is that when I do it that way more times than not the leading edge of the bit "catches" the plexi/lexan and it cracks/splits. I've messed up more than I care to admit.-mad I have now developed a new method to eliminate all chances of me messing up with my drill bit. I now use my very...

Nope... not that thing, its at the very back of the valve cover. Its horse shoe shaped and about the size of one, but not near as heavy. I wish I could take a picture, but can't. Its like it (the thingie) is there to protect something, but for the life of me I don't know what?:sorry RoReRi

    What are these for???

On the back side of the valve covers, attached with the valve cover bolts that actually have two threaded ends, is this metal bracket/thingie that is attached to those double threaded/headed bolts. Do these things have a purpose? And hopefully I have described them correctly, if not, I'll try...

    Aftermarket Bumper

Here are a couple of pictures of an OBS I saw at the beach this past summer. It had Ranch Hand bumpers front and back... Up close they looked pretty intimidating (sp?) espically if you were looking at them in your rear view.:D RoReRi

    Where's the Glow Plug Relay?

I'm thinking that the voltage drop between the two large terminals with the WTS light ON should be LESS that 0.05 volts dc. When the WTS light is on, then both large terminals on the relay should be physically the same. With that in mind, the voltage drop between the two “same” terminals should...

Wiring harness FIX for the UVC pigtails that burn!!!

Nope, I have one of those in my hand... It is nothing but a white wire about 6 inches long with a connector "pin" on one end. The part I've just found is a 3rd party part and has the same color wires as our engine's wiring harness. Maybe I'll try to take a picture of it and post it... Lets...

It’s late here and I’ve got an oil leak… parked for a couple of hours and had a 8 inch oil patch:eek: From what I could tell, and with a little flashlight and a cold wind blowing… It was coming from between the front of the engine, and the fan. starting problems

Before you go to the trouble and expence of a new starter, like someone I know... Try checking the big wire going to the starter. The nut that held the cable on was just a little loose and over time had gotten hot and burnt in places, causing the EXACT same problem as you...
