I thought it was a hoax too. I think ford actually calls it a coolant condition. It's part of the normal service and its in the manual. I believe 8 oz. every

I've got a Autometer z-series EGT gauge. Lately it has been wigging out on me. Under normal driving (light throttle) it will rise to 1200 then max out completely. Shortly after that it will return to normal. I pulled the gauge and felt really hot where the light bulb was. I pulled the fuse...
Ok, I did a search and read a lot about it. just a few more questions. are there any negative side affects to just unplugging it? is it ok to leave it unplugged. and what is this possible leak that I have seen people talk about.
I don't have a garage that my truck can fit in, to work on...
That's one of the show's I DVR. what ya running, so I can keep an eye out? Someone should run their diesel on that show. I would love to see Rich smoked out.
I noticed it last winter, and it's starting to do it again. Everytime I get out of my vehicle I get a shock of static electricity when I touch the door. It doesn't happen during the summer. Any ideas?
my stock clutch could not hold up to a 100hp programmer. So I installed the South Bend Con-O (rated at 350hp) and with the mods in my sig I have no problem putting the power to the ground.
The pedal was a little smoother than stock, and was even easier to push in. I just removed the...
my buddy and I nabbed 3 drake Redheads today. First Redhead I ever shot, this has been a good year for ducks (well, me not them). one of them was mature, and despite my womans complaints, it's going on the wall too. pics to come soon.
I'm taking it to the taxidermist tomorrow. I'm thinking about a standing wall mount (it has to be on the wall cause of the dogs/cats). Here are some pics of what I want. the first is the position I want to mount the woodie (insert joke here). The second pic is how the might the legs might...
Well, it's that time of year and it's starting to get cold. Driving to work in the morning before my truck is up to operating temperature, I hear a "whooshing" sound from the motor and my egt's rise. It stops when I increase the throttle. That's the egr valve closing right?
welcome JCC! how do you like your injectors and turbo? Those are next on "the list" just don't know which ones. what kind of HP/TQ are you putting down?
I try to always use an additive, but sometimes I forget then I might get stranded. I was thinking that insulation at the least should help against gelling.
i think that insulation around the fuel tank would be a big plus. I have the worst problem with fuel gelling. I don't know if a fuel heater would be plausible/safe.
