    I tried the Rev-x last year and saw a slight improvement but still has issues during cold start. I saw much better improvement switching to full synthetic (T6 Rotella). Thinking about giving the Archoil 9100 a shot along with the T6 before I give up and start replacing injectors.

    What kind of symptoms were you seeing with your injectors? I think my '05 is about ready for a set.

    Question What did you do to your truck today?

    Rear brakes and rotors and fuel filters while I was dirty anyway. Also had another #4 glow plug error that cleared and came back once and the stayed gone after clearing a second time. Checked my amp draw (about 35 amps per side). Thinking I must have an intermittent harness.

    When installing the Autometer trans temp sender there used to be a long one and a short probed one. The long one does not have sufficient clearance in the 4R100 and can break when you tighten it up. Ask me how I know. :) Probably still some old threads about it.

    For the 6.0l, should be 1,3,5,7 passenger side front to back and 2,4,6,8 driver's side front to back.

    Added a quick drain valve (Fumoto) and changed the oil to Rotella T6 synthetic for the first time. Hoping this will help my stiction issue and I don't have to dig into injectors.

    Merry Christmas everyone! About 4 inches on the ground in Western Colorado (in the valleys) and finally starting to crawl out of the very low single digit and negative temps at night. May get a fresh layer of snow Christmas Eve and/or Christmas day. Enjoy!
