I saw diesel for 3.53 in South Carolina Yesterday. Will be stopping there on my way back from the campsite in Georgia next Sunday

$3.87 in Ames IA today -- the cheapest I've seen in IA, IL, KY, TN, AL to FL panhandle since March.

Yep. They'll drop the prices a penny a day for a couple of weeks, then raise it 10 cents higher than it was before dropping. I saw it once at $3.59 then dropped to $3.49, then overnight raised to $3.69. Just glad it's still dropping now, even if it is slowly. Some stations in the DFW area are at $3.38. A few weeks ago, we had prices around $3.89 or more.

I sold the extra car, now we're down to the pickup and my wife's Focus wagon, which is now the primary grocery getter.

Thankfully, diesel has reached $3.70 a gallon, down from $4.05 six weeks ago.
