    Drove about 2000 miles since my last post. The front end is getting back to normal. So it looks like the joints were just manufactured too tight at the plant. I think after a new steering damper I'll be good as new!

    Great call! I would snatch up that deal if I came across it. based on the numbers his average speed was 50mph. This guy never drives in cities and never idles the thing. Makes for a very happy 6.

    06 w/ 93K went to the dealer yesterday for various issues including a oil leak I would swear was coming from the CPS/CKP sensor. SA just called to say "bed plate". It just amazes me that after millions of engines and the 3rd production year of this motor, they haven't corrected casting issues...

    The fuel heater is part of the HFCM (where your large fuel filter is) Just check your fuse panel (& manual) mentioned above. If the relay is there, you have the heater.

    My 2 cents.... Do you have a fuel heater on the 04? I think you do. I had an issue with mine where it would turn on for no reason. Sometimes it would happen overnight & I would wake up to a dead battery. If you have it, try pulling the FH relay in the fuse panel under the dash. If the problem...

    Update... If anyone is interseted. I have had the FS2500 for 60K now and have 9 Oil analysis available for viewing. OA for FS-2500 . I stopped keeping track of the cost difference (with/ without FS) I just don't care about cost and like the added protection.

    Hope that's a 4*2. It just looks wimpy! Bumper too low & small. Grill too big. Too much hood. Headlights look Like they came off an old van. I really hope there are some changes after the feedback comes in. Not that I care, I'm driving mine forever!
