    I got the pump off....we hooked battery cables to it and no nothing, just a quick little jerk and no hum, no spin, no nothing I got a 97, so no electrical fuel pump, is this a valid way to test the pump? anybody got part numbers for this pump? autozone, pepboys, etc the truck is stuck in...

    I cant remember that chit when I did mine...seems like it was two very stiff very thin washers on the banjo bolt...I just tightened it down and like mentioned before,,a tap or two with a hammer to seat it... no leaks yet :) but it could be your problem.... I think this is the part number...

    I dont think the operator ran it right at all....I've always seen them run it up to about 60 or so, then mash it....if the guy only ran yours up to 80mph, it probably wasnt even in the high rpm's yet....my 01 with similiar mods did about 300 rwhp with a DI chip(thats with 37" tires)...my 97...
