When I did the fan clutch I spun the pump to get a feel for the bearings and it felt fine. Also typically when a water pump goes out they tend to leak out of the weep hole. Thanks for the input though. This thing is driving me nuts!!!- sandcrazy

As I think about things, it also pops a bit when it is reved in park maybe 2000- 2500 range. I dont know if that means anything or not, thanks- sandcrazy

Just to confirm, is this the valve on the back of the turbo that has a rod on the passenger side tucked back by the firewall?- sandcrazy

Overall the boats look ok. I had the engine cleaned the day I brought it home, and they still look good after 8,000 miles.- sandcrazy

Ok so I picked up an 01 7.3 4x4 cc dually a few months ago and I am having a few issues with it, and I am not sure which way to turn. I bought an 01 new, and I seem to remember it running better than this one, it just seems like it does not have any power at the hit of the throttle, and falls on...- sandcrazy
