ok so i ran the code on a like 8500$ snap on scanner.... had 3 trouble codes -waste gate malfunction -turbine sensor malfunction -speed sensor input malfunction any ideas??- 95talon

o yea an also forgot to mention... when im driving wheather its doing 50, 60mph or just driving around the city the overdrive "off" light on the column shifter blinks...and when you push it it doesnt do anything..... :dunno- 95talon

not sure didnt really get higher than 35, 40mph on the test ride... any other suggestions?? possibly sensor, relay, fuse, selinoid etc?- 95talon

trans problems on an auto
ok so i picked my new truck today :clap: :sweet ... 2002 f250 7.3 auto 4x4 31,000 miles. has full exhaust which to my knowledge is the only aftermarket mod besides gauges... problem: driving home down the high way and it wouldnt go into overdrive... was doing about 60mph and was at like 2200...- 95talon

high idle switch
Im still a little new to diesels so take it easy on me.... saw in a few people sigs about a high idle switch or something... whats the reason for that? to get it to warm up faster or what?- 95talon

Train Horn Questions
i put a set of train horns on ebay... i think they were the kong mkIII?? anyway i hooked it right up to the compressor in my garage... HOLYYYY CRAPPPP haha soooooo loud... havent got to put them in yet but ill be getting my truck in a few days... ill let you know how the install goes..- 95talon

had a few questions on a worst case senario bases. if i get this truck i already noticed the transfer case was a little wet. was wonder how hard/much it would cost to rebuild the transfer case my self (parts wise and how long average for labor). also was wondering god forbid the trans blows how...- 95talon

ok i ran a carfax on the truck and it was in a small accident and the damage wasnt even fixed... im going to go up and take one last look at it and see if i can catch something i missed possibly some over spray or something.- 95talon

hey thanks guys... one last question... about the milage... how easy is it to change the milage (its a digital odometer) and do you think it could have been done to this truck... also with only 31k what are the chances the trans is shot?- 95talon

ok thanks guys... the story i got from the used car dealer (bad news already i know) was that it was a NY fireman's truck and he got messed up in the big bank fire recently and was put into a koma (sp) and wouldnt be able to drive the truck anymore so they auctioned it off and that where this...- 95talon
