After seeing all the trucks on here that have the train horns, I WANT A SET. I have been looking around on the net and found a few on ebay in my price range. I would just need the air for the horns if I need any other air I have my compressor on the weldin trailer.

eBay Motors: 4 Trumpet Train Horn 3 Gal 200psi Viair 380c Air pkg (item 130181730732 end time Dec-11-07 08:39:32 PST)

eBay Motors: Air Horn, Compressor, & Tank Compact Train Chrome Loud (item 270194296829 end time Dec-12-07 17:20:05 PST)

These are the ones Iam looking at, so what do y'all think, which one for the money

IMOA i would do it right. I have looked on ebay plenty I just don't see spending a chunk of money on a gamble. I always look for a deal but it kinda comes down to you get wat you pay for... try hornblasters.com they did a write up on them in diesel power mag and they use real train horns and viar compressors etc... kinda spendy but probably worth it... if it were me i would save pennies for a bit and get a proven kit... something guaranteed to be loud...

anyway check out the site, they got good video clips.

I would rather "put" a system together, than to buy one of those Chinaese Trumpets sets on ebay.

I have had some of those 3 trumpet horns and they didnt hold up. The air manifold got water in it and began to expand and developed air leaks.

If you can, be patience and try to get a good set of 3 chime Nathan's (real deal train horns) they sound great too.

I eventually got lucky and purchased a set of Leslie RS5T train horns for 500.00., bought a ViAir 450 air compressor from hornblasters, and won a 15 gallon tank from ebay.

After I got it all together, it was more than I could have asked for.
