    Both will work. It's a matter of preference. I would avoid the 03-04 6.0 engines as they had bugs in them.

    If you overtighten the clamps it will blow off also. There should be a torque rating to tighten the clamps up to. Could your clamps be damaged? I would think that proper torque, clean surfaces and high tack glue will solve your problem.

    Try removing the Banks programmer and reset back to stock. Now see what your gas mileage does. Do you see excessive black smoke out your tailpipe when driving? If so, leaky injector(s).

    6.0 idle time

    AFter I idle my truck for about 2 minutes, the idle automatically increases to about 850-900 rpm. This started after I had the computer reflashed with 05E17 flash. The Ford tech told me after the truck idles for 2-3 minutes the idle will raise and the EGR will shutoff to prevent coking.

    I had to file a little amount off the headlight base to get the bulb to fit in. After I did that is slid right in and I was able to turn it in to lock it in place. And yes, the directions are horrible. Quality of the kit is good and the brightness of my 50W kit is unbelieveable.

    I know you were looking for similar comparisions so I won't tell you about my X getting 21MPG now that I installed my Walker BTM muffler. I think the key thing to remember is that the best the MPG will be around 2000 rpm near the peak torque of the truck. That is about 69/70 MPH.
