6.0 head bolts

Hi guys, sorry for all the threads, I am new to diesels and trying to learn. i always liked ford. so i bought one.
here goes, how often do the head bolts cause issues? lots of people had problems but hundreds of thusands of trucks sold? you guys do anything preventitave?

after i add any power adder i runn it for a little while and re-torque the head to make sure that every thing is alright under the rocker cover.

If you plan on increasing the power level via chip then I would retorque but if you leave stock like I have then I wouldn't worry about it.

head bolt problems

Some stock trucks have had head bolt problems per past posts, while others like Bama who has the Banks system putting out 381 rwhp, does not have head bolt problems. ???? It would be nice to know what is really causing the head bolt problems. Bad material?, bad workmanship at the factory?, poor headgaskets?, who knows? :dunno
Maybe a Ford diesel mechanic can shed some light on this situation.
