    Welcome fellow 7.3'r. Cant beat the ole 7.3's. Mine has 269k on it. bought it with 242k. Yer 2008 has been around for sure. Probably gonna be up there with the 7.3's in reliability. Congrats on the trucks and make yerself at home!:sweet

    And we all know LED's are way more efficient using power. So thats a plus right there. Not to mention last a lot longer than bulbs. Search ebay, lots of cool LED lighting stuff there.

    I've heard if you go with a beefier clutch kit the firewall has to be reinforced cause you will push yer foot through the firewall. A friend of mine had to do that to his OBS psd when he upgraded his clutch.

    What noise are you talkin about? You talkin about "cackle" noise from the injectors? Or is it an exhaust leak or the actual low rumble of the exhaust system/turbo whistle? I do love that noise. Mine isnt too bad with my big stacks and no muffler. What exhaust you got?

    I agree with Joe on upping to a 16". Easier to find tires cause they would fit other vehicles too. And I would get a spare tire/wheel assembly too just to be safe. And Im with Dave on goin up on load range.

    I think there is a complete aftermarket FPR assembly you can buy that even has a fuel pressure gauge on it?? Probably really expensive but an alternative.

    Yea the 6.0 is a troublesome motor BUT I have also seen guys not have any issues with them. Yours is a newer 6.0 so not as many probs. All the probs have been addressed. Sucks they are sometimes expensive to fix. As long as you dont mod the crap out of it like high hp tunes and stuff you should...

    Very true! You guys have been hit very hard. Here in KS we havnt gotten much rain, havnt had to mow the grass much. Most of it died. The mowers have gotten a good vacation this yr for sure. :D

    Yea, i just need to get a in dash dvd player which is what i have wanted a long time. Who makes a good camera? I'd like to do the rear cam, rear trailer cam and possibly the in trailer cam since I pull a trailer a lot. Are the Ford cameras good or should I just get an aftermarket one?

    Welcome! Maintenance is very important on diesels. Just a few extra things to do on yer diesel compared to a gasser. Just more filters pretty much.

    Sorry for your loss. Always devastating when its a sweet lil child. We had to bury a good friend of ours son, he was 6. Died in a car accident. Hearts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

    Sorry about the Fusion Joe! More and more expensive to fix a car nowadays! My mom backed into a Ford Flat bed in our driveway in her 05 Lincoln LS and OMG did tons of damage! Left rear corner was screwed. Even messed up the inside of the trunk frame and got the trunk lid. $5400 later it was fixed.
