    you can actually intercept the wire in a loom near the passenger side battery ,, if you decide to get to the wire from the horn plug ,, If I remember correctly you can pull back the fender splash guard enough to access it

    I did and I just used a fused relay and bypassed the oem horn ,, the factory horn is buried under the passanger side fender ,,

    it only works on max a/c and you can verify that it actuates by having someone cycle the max or recirc (depending on control style) and watch to see if the arm moves

    35 shouldn't boil fluid on the short trip home ,, that and the hanging shift def seems like he didn't do his proper checks specially like stated at the cooler flow ,, what were your issues before the rebuild?

    the frame on the 2500 I had was massive and nothing like the 1/2 ton so if it's failing it isnt because it's wimpy,, more likley it's a design flaw now the GM IFS is 1/2 ton junk on a HD truck

    the cummins swap doesn't need to be a hack job ,, they sell all the proper parts,harnesses and tranny controller for a clean swap .. it is a common swap

    not sure what xp is ? a typo ? the approved fluids for your tranny are Mercon SP or or the New Mercon LV valvoline sells one that states on the bottle it is ok to use in our transmissions also and they confirmed this over the phone ,,
