Superchips or SCT Tuner and the Ford ESP Warranty

Can anyone tell me any information about using a Superchips or SCT tuner, and its effect with the Ford ESP warranty? I'm real tempted to use a tuner such as these, but don't want to compromise the extended warranty I have with my truck. I know that I can return the tune to stock before any work is done, but can the dealership find if I have used custom tunes on my PCM?

The PCM does not tell the Dealer if you have had a tuner or not, as far as I know. They will void the warranty if they find evidence that a tuner was used. Looking at the cylinder heads and pistons will tell, by the flame travel path.
