New guy that needs your advice please
the 06 your looking at is a nice truck it popped right up when I searched the vin but for a ref point I paid 32 k 1.5 years ago for a similar truck with 22k miles your factory 5 yr 100k ext motor warranty is or close to gone so consider at least an aftermarket warranty- Zmann ARGH

OEM isn't cool .. but it has been proven the best for the 6.0 the Aftermarket stuff has seems to have been proven to be Hype- Zmann ARGH

How to Service Front Wheel Bearing on 4x4???
You don't mention your application? my 06 hubs are oem and completley dissengage the front components ,, so that may be why they don't mention it as a benefit ? also the best reason to do the swap is to loose the unit bearing ,, but it is too$$ for me as for shocks .. I have seen many good...- Zmann ARGH

dpf fines
we had a discussion about this a while back ,, there is a lot of service /and forestry 6.4's without the dpf and they came that way from the factory with the corresponding programming because we all know you just don't remove the dpf and call it a day but like a stated they would be...- Zmann ARGH

dpf fines
It would be shocking to hear of a random roadside inspection for a dpf , and then for the authority to have a data base of every component for every vehicle handy ,, they would also need to check the vin ( not all 6.4's have dpf ,, but those might be obvious ?- Zmann ARGH

you put the crap on before emissions testing ,, and there is no issue .. AZ doesn't do spot inspections ..plus with an 08 ,, you have a ways to go before your first test- Zmann ARGH

Leaking Fuel Tank Vent
the tank fittings for the vent are check valved in case of roll over ,, then if I remember correctly the run together via frame mounted lines and then the final vent to atmosphere is just sitting close to the top of the tank //if you are getting the tank to full it would drip out the end of the...- Zmann ARGH

the factory on the stock doesn't run very far ,, and it vents between 2 locations ,, it also has anti drain check valves in the tank fitting ,, my aftermarket was a bit different ,, but in your case I think that u need to just extend the one common vent line up higher //you are basically so full...- Zmann ARGH

Wiring up air horns
on mine i can just tap the horn button and it will lay down a much smaller sound so I didn't neet to worry about retaining the oem horn otherwise you would need a three way toggle or if you leave your oem horn on all the time you would just need a on off switch from the wire you run from the...- Zmann ARGH

Leaking Fuel Tank Vent
I can send you a pic of a ccsb tank if it will help but I think you may need to extend the vent up higher ,, I did a replacment midship tank and harpooned it .. I have my vent runnning up past the fuel filler door- Zmann ARGH

here is what 12v . com has for a color and location if u need a dif spot but you still want to bypass the oem it just doesn't sound good mixed with the air horns IMHO Horn DK BLUE (-) 8 WAY CONNECTOR TO RIGHT OF CONNECTOR STEERING COLUMN- Zmann ARGH
