    there's a company called hothead headliners that makes headliners for jeeps because they have no insulation. Might see if they could make you something? My parents have this in their wrangler and it has made a night and day difference in the inside temp.

My service guy also noticed the egr cooler was starting to leak, so i got a new one of those along with new coolant at 85k miles! All under the 5/100k warranty. Good...

    have you had the recall done? those codes seem familiar to the EGT sensor failing that causes the truck to go into limp mode. Now, if you were running it hard or towing, might be bigger concerns like Joe mentioned.

    yep, i still run power service in mine almost every tank. I go off the back of the bottle, but generally run about 8 oz when i fill up my 25 gallon tank. 8 oz apparently treats 30 gallons, so might be a tad rich but i would agree on the power aspect...seems to be a little snappier when i run...

    if you're running synthetic, you dont even need to bat an eye at it until it gets up to 240*. I've read about others pulling their 5ers over a steep pass in colorado and 240* is where it topped out. like dave said, 5k is nothing ti even blink at.

    I put a set of these on my truck at about 50k miles as my stock Rancho ones had been shot for a while. I immediately noticed a difference in the ride as it felt more like it did when it was new. I've read they rancho ones go out pretty quick.
