So my check engine light came on today and I ran the codes and got P2033 and P2031.

Can I get by for a few days on these or should I park the truck until maintenance can be done?

I realize these are high EGT codes.

Thanks.

Welcome to the site.

What kind of driving were you doing when the CEL came on ?

Off the Top... I'd park it. If the Turbo is going out.. You may have pieces'n parts where you don't want them, causing more damage. And NO power.

have you had the recall done? those codes seem familiar to the EGT sensor failing that causes the truck to go into limp mode. Now, if you were running it hard or towing, might be bigger concerns like Joe mentioned.

Yep, it was the 4th sensor. Common failure on the 6.7. I hope the replacement sensor fairs better.
