Question 01 F-350 dash lights not working and engine in limp mode.
I hate tree rats!!! When they got in my 99.5 my lights on the dash quit working......then the battery went dead because the alternator wasn't charging. I tore the dash out and tested bulbs and circuits to no avail. Traced/tested continuity on the power wire through the firewall into the...- Tbar

A buddy of mine with a new 2013 F250 pointed this out to me the other day so I checked it on my 2012. Driving around town without a load the transmission temp reading is between 192-196 degrees. On my 1999 this would have been considered borderline high for the conditions. What are y'all...- Tbar

Rear brakes on my 99.5
When I had my 99.5 it took three trips to the parts store to get the right front rotors. The third time I took a rotor up there and carefully inspected the diameter and the offset on several different ones before finding the right one. Tbar- Tbar

This is crazy
I am wondering about this DPF thing. In the first weeks after I bought my 2012 the lie-o-meter showed 20-22mpg on the highway. Now at 12k miles it stays in the 16-17mpg range. Is the DPF getting stopped up? Does the DEF go bad if not stored correctly? FWIW.......my old truck would always...- Tbar

Galveston Vacation
Welcome to Texas......... I enjoy Galveston ok but am pretty sure I wouldn't drive all the way from the Canadian border to vacation there unless I was killing several birds with one stone. :) FWIW......the North California coast is about the same distance. :) Tbar- Tbar
