Thanks guys not what I wanted to hear but never is......... Heading out to check the cord and plug but have my dbouts, only because it popped a breaker last year but I never needed it after that so I wasnt sure.... just put a new alt in yesterday due to the COLD sure weeds out the weak...- BigDogDaddy

Ok so it has gotten that winter chill going 18 last night and truck started kinda rough in the AM... My meter is telling me that my block heater is open and it is for sure not doing any good to leave plugged in for sevral hours....... My Question is is it fused or has my heater rod...- BigDogDaddy

Picked up my truck last night , to the tune of 1900 bucks:( ......... I will admit though it runs better than it has in a while (think it had a slight miss at idle)..... Took my truck to Ford and gave them a written explaination taped to the dash......... They call with the Injector harness fell off under the valve cover told them to fix it......... they call again with the Injector Driver module is dead.......... Yep even pulled all the fuses..............nothing I repair stuff for a living so I have pretty good troubleshooting skills (I think:) ) but when it acts like a 8500 GVW toaster my guess is that its electrical and with out a service manual Im just shooting in the dark....... Did plug in the block heater....nothing Did charge batterys and left charger on them when cranking........nothing Batterys are 1 year old today (dont ask how I know) Didnt try jump to glow plugs......... Think I have a couple things that went when it shut down on the road...... Am...- BigDogDaddy

Howdy! Have a 99 super with a 7.3.... Driving to work it dies, pull to side of the road shut down then restart runs real ruff, but makes it back home........... Hook up code puller and see cps fault and idm fault, change cps and clear all faults...... Now will no longer start and run on...- BigDogDaddy
