Crumm.. Sorry I did'nt stick to your Question (typical of me

)
Yul be surprised at watt (

) pulls power. Things like light bulbs, Coffee pots, toaster ovens, ceiling fans and the like. Things we don't think about (?) 4, 75 watt bulbs= 300 watts. The UL stickers arent that correct.
Light Bulbs were my eye opener

. When you stop to think about the number of lights you have on in just your normal daily/nightly living.. the Wattage adds up purdy darn quick.
Another example at my place was.. I had a total of 16, 4',40watt florescent's in my shop, for a total of 640 watts. I know there's a dif in starting load/running load science but changing them out for 8, 23 watt (same as 100 watt'ers
for Lumen's of light) dropped that to 184 watts, running.
Don't know the Rocket Science of it all but we've dropped our Electric bill by about a 1/3rd with CFL's, and watching Use a bit closer.
The "Kill A Watt" tuned me in.
Home Depot has about the best selection for CFL's. ('round here anyway) I went with the "Bright White" for most applications.
