I just got one of those laser thermometers, and it is kind of neat. I am running around shooting stuff to check out the temperatures.

Anything that "shoots" is cool!!

A/C is working today, but wore shorts just in case. 1:23pm local time and we are at 100!!
Could be worse. Imagine working for Dallas FD or Dallas PD and have to work this, today:

Have yall ever put on FULL BUNKER GEAR in 100+ Temp and battled Brush Fires!!!

Let me tell ya, it is just FREAKING HOT HOT HOT!!!!

Ya get out of it and you are completely WET!!!

And when you take it off, even if it is 100+ outside, it feels like 60!!! You are freazing!!! It is crazy but that is the TEMP difference.

Sundays heat index was 128. I talked to an old timer yesterday and he said we have been in the hotest spell since "36". We're not used to that hot of weather up here.

We rode across the desert on Saturday afternoon, when we rolled into Thermopolis, Wy @ 4 pm it was 109*F. So we headed up into the Big Horns where it was a little cooler.

Today its a balmy 103*F.
