York compressor

I came across a York type A/C compressor. I want to know the CFM and max psi. it will do.
Tag info says;
Navistar
No. A 1515590
Pt. 2000820 C91 ( I recognize this to be a IH part#)
05/97 ( I assume this is the build date)

Does anybody know where to find info on this compressor? I would like to use it as a onboard air compressor.

I think the York's can always be used. (if I remember right). The CFM will depend on engine speed. If you do a search and find some jeep forums the guys will be able to tell you everything you wanted to know and then some. :)

The guys I've seen using them create homemade AIC's and run impact wrenches, etc.

Running air tools is exactly what I intend to do. I would like to set up a service truck of sorts. Some of my tools are quite greedy when it comes to cfm, believe it or not 11 cfm is a little low for what I need, I was told by tire service people to get a compressor capable of 18 cfm @ 175psi. I have checked on the air compressors that the tire svc. trucks use but they are up wards of $5000. Engine mounted air compressors used for air brakes can make 175+ psi but for a 17+ cfm compressor they are at least $2500 for just the compressor. I am just looking at what my options are. Maybe I should try the York and see if it will work out. I could always try using post turbo air for the compressor intake. I have seen that done in large trucks. Thanks Dave I have looked at the jeep sites I know of and most had real small cfm ratings, and now days the "in thing" to do is carry Nitrogen cyls. If you know of some good sites let me know. I was wrong about all York's being usable . ..

Here are a few sites. If your compressor doesn't make enough CFM then you can always mount a tank to give you a little extra. On a jeep it's a major PITA to mount one, cut on a Superduty it'd be a piece of cake. (On my jeep I converted the front and rear bumpers and the rock sliders into air tanks).
