We haven't gotten any at the house yet and not much in the mountains. It is quite cold though. LAst year was perfect, three big snows and the temperature barely got below 30.

Its just starting to feel like winter here. 6 to 8 inchs of snow tonite lows from -10 to 10 degrees the next couple of nites.

SNOW WILL FALL HEAVY AT TIMES AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BY LATE MONDAY EVENING OF 5 TO 12+ INCHES ARE EXPECTED. THE MOST SNOW WILL OCCUR OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN.

A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF LAKE-EFFECT SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS. LAKE-EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS TYPICALLY ALIGN THEMSELVES IN BANDS AND WILL LIKELY BE INTENSE ENOUGH TO DROP SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW PER HOUR FOR SEVERAL HOURS. Yea, we had a cold front move in last night and the thermometer plunged into the low '60's; three old people have already died due to the extreme cold weather.....
